President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir of Sudan is in Uganda on a 2-day official at the invitation of President Yoweri Museveni.
President Bashir was this morning received at State House, Entebbe by his host President Museveni and a high-powered Uganda delegation that included Cabinet Ministers, Government Service Chiefs and senior government officials.
During his stay in Uganda, President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir will hold bilateral discussions with his host President Yoweri Museveni on a number of issues of mutual importance between the two countries as well as regional matters.
However, Bashir's visit to Uganda has attracted Criticism from activists like Sarah Kihika Kasande of the International Center for Transitional Justice who accused the government of harbouring an international fugitive.
