Uganda police says eight police officers including a senior commandant arrested in connection with missing 83 kg of cocaine will appear in court once the prosecutors’ strike is suspended.
The High court in Kampala has adjourned the hearing of capital offences indefinitely, due to an on-going Prosecutor's strike.The industrial action by state prosecutors that has so far spanned over a month has paralyzed trials countrywide and clogging of the criminal justice system.
