Museveni wants old buildings knocked down

The President has directed that all dilapidated and poorly-planned structures in cities, towns and municipalities all over the country should be demolished, as the government moves towards establishing a middle-class economy.

The Directive was revealed by the Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development Betty Amongi at a Lands and Housing stakeholders meeting in Kampala.
