With reports emerging that the construction of Karuma & Isimba dams could grind to a shuddering halt over shoddy work and supremacy fights, the president has now intervened.
The president has written a letter to the energy minister Irene Muloni instructing her to suspend works until the defects on these dams are corrected.
However, Museveni emphasises that the suspension should only be sanctioned, if it is necessary.
