The Recovery Solutions Treatment and Counseling Center in Zana, located off Entebbe Road has treated nearly 280 people for various addictions.
The centre's Chief Executive Director Ruth Kikome says 76% of these are living a sober life and usually come to the centre to talk to, and motivate addicts undergoing treatment.
Kikome says that checking into a rehabilitation centre may not always be the addict’s personal decision, and many of them are forced to join the programs against their will.
