The artistes who have made a decision to become goodwill ambassadors of better health through music are; Joanita Kawalya, Hillary Kiyaga commonly known as Dr. Hilderman, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Mesach Ssemakula, Rhema Namakula and Richard Kasandwe commonly known as Ziza Bafana.
A group of local musicians have teamed up to use their talents and popularity to highlight the challenges in Uganda’s health sector.
The artistes who have made a decision to become goodwill ambassadors of better health through music are; Joanita Kawalya, Hillary Kiyaga commonly known as Dr. Hilderman, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Mesach Ssemakula, Rhema Namakula and Richard Kasandwe commonly known as Ziza Bafana.
Each of them will sing two songs on specific health issues such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Nutrition, Malaria, family planning, maternal and child health among others.
The campaign has been supported by PATH - a Non-Governmental Organisation which advocates for better health.
