Kampala Capital City Authority has renamed Nakivubo Place Road in Kampala, which runs astride Nakivubo stadium and Owino Market, after now deceased former Kampala Mayor John Ssebaana Kizito.
The motion was unanimously passed in a special KCCA council meeting that honoured Ssebaana for his contribution to the development of the city.
