On Monday, the High Court in Kampala ordered the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) to pay Terry Kahuma, it's former executive director, Shs260 million for wrongful dismissal.
Justice Lydia Mugambe ruled that Kahuma was condemned, without being given a chance to defend himself, by a commission of inquiry that was set up to investigate his alleged mismanagement of the standards organisation.
