State Minister for Health, Sarah Opendi, told journalists that the offices would be open to staff by Monday afternoon to enable them to carry out their duties. She says some of the staff may be summoned by the police to record statements.
Other health officials who arrived on a bus were seen stranded as many remained uncertain of accomplishing deadlines and unfinished projects.
