Seven months  pregnant  and  nursing serious  injuries after her lover chopped off her hands and ears a month ago in Kyenjojo, Ninsiima Kabonesa  is now on a steady path to  recovery at Mulago hospital though she is in a lot of pain and suffers from terrible headaches.

Dr. Ben Khingi, a surgeon and consultant with the plastic surgery and burns unit says that Ninsiima lost a lot of blood, which partly explains  the headaches she is experiencing.

Dr. Khingi says  Ninsiima  could be discharged in about three weeks but she will still need follow-up especially as she is about to give birth.
