Kampala Capital City Authority KCCA raided Sr. Miriam Duggan Primary School in Kamwokya, a surburb of Kampala, on Monday morning, following a tip off that pupils were being coached during school holidays.

The ban on extra-tuition classes was instituted by the ministry of education in 2010 citing, among other reasons, that schools mismanage learning time during the term and attempt to make up for it during holdidays-usually at a an extra cost to the parents.
