The director of human resource in the Uganda Police Force, AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, warned that the deserters would face disciplinary action.
At least 216 police officers who were recruited for anti-terrorism training have deserted the training course over the last few months.
The revelation came during the pass out ceremony of 205 officers who have completed the four months course at Nakasongola army barracks.
