Under the ongoing compensation to thousands of people along the 273 Km right of way being sought by the Standard Gauge Railway project, the valuation team is said to be encountering higher rates for burial grounds. Kasingye Kyamugambi, the Project Coordinator for the Standard Gauge Railway, was giving a media update on the progress of the 8 Trillion shilling project, being funded in partnership with the government of China.
