Commonwealth games double gold medal winner Joshua Cheptegei’s father Stephenson Kwalya says visitors have been frequenting his home in Kapchorwa since his son won the first gold medal for Uganda in the 2018 commonwealth games in Gold coast Australia last Sunday.
Kwalya, a headteacher in one of the local primary schools, says he was not surprised that his son achieved the feat because he had earlier dreamt about it.
He also revealed that Cheptegei trained hard after the disappointment at the world cross country championships which were held in Kampala last year.
