The 4th Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo, has opened here in Kampala, with a clarion call for the promotion of domestic tourism.
While officially opening the expo, The Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu, appealed to Ugandans and all people interested in profiling the country’s rich bio-diversity to consider the most attractive and best-priced attractions.
Annually, Uganda earns approximately $1.4b, which is about five trillion shillings, mainly drawn from foreign visitors to the national parks and related attractions.
