For more than two months, the country has been experiencing a heat wave.
The Uganda National Meteorological Authority might have some good news as a recent forecast indicates an increased probability for normal rainfall over much of the country in coming days.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday morning at the Uganda National Media Centre in Kampala, the executive director of Uganda National Meteorological Authority, Dr Festus Loboyera said some parts, however, will remain dry.
He advised farmers to start preparing land for cultivation.
