Charles Wesley Mubere the Omusinga of the Rwenzururu Kingdom on Friday appeared before grade one magistrate in Jinja court.
The Omusinga and his Prime Minister Johnson Thembo reported to Jinja but the Registrar of Jinja court Jesse Byaruhanga was not present as he was in Kampala for official duty.
They were instead attended to by the grade one magistrate Peter Mitala who adjourned their bail up to 6th February 2018.
Alfred Mukasi who is Mumbere's lawyer says the King and his people are looking forward to having dialogue with the government so that they have lasting solutions for the problems affecting the Kingdom.
''Court can only solve criminal cases but not solve the course of problems, The people in the Rwenzururu believe and have faith and hope in their king. So we want him back to Kasese instead of staying in Kampala'' He said.
