Fireworks displays in different parts of Kampala

The crossover to a new year is usually lit up by fireworks.

This has become a global tradition as people celebrate reaching another year.

Here in Kampala, many recreational venues and places of worship treated Ugandans to a display of fireworks on the midnight hour.
