Over 1000 intern doctors will today begin a nationwide strike.The announcement comes amid ongoing industrial action called by the Uganda Medical Association over low pay and poor working conditions.
The President of the Uganda Medical Association, Dr.Ekwaro Obuku confirmed the development.
"The key issue is that they have been intimidated by their supervisors", Dr Oboku stated.
