Geraldine Ssali Busulwa, the troubled Deputy Managing Director of the National Social Security Fund has been blocked from accessing her office on Monday morning.
Security officers at the Workers House in the Central Business District, told Ssali who was in the company of her lawyers that they were under strict instructions to keep her away.
Last week, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija, engaged both the NSSF MD Richard Byarugaba and his Deputy Ssali, to resolve their differences and find a way to work together.
The minister asked Ssali to withdraw all the court cases she had filed in court against her suspension by the NSSF Board, in order for her to be reinstated.
One of Ssali's lawyers, Rogers Bikaala, who witnessed Ssali being barred from her office, said he will disclose the legal team's next move in a matter of days.
